Direnna, the Dawnlight

Goddess of truth, righteousness, and mercy. Direnna watches over the light of
the world and protects those who seek the truth or who aim to right wrongs in
her name. She is both merciful and righteous, and typically depicted as a
flaxen-haired woman bearing a scepter. Followers of Direnna tend to live by a
strong moral code compelling them to "follow the Light" and live a virtuous
life. The most strident of followers take up arms in her name to eradicate what
they view as the evils of the world. Speaking lies is thought to be a grave
offense against Direnna, and followers must confess their sins and be judged by
the Confessor of Direnna's church in order to return to her good graces.
Drienna's priests are known as Dawn Clerics, and bring Direnna's holy light to
those in need.
