Ejendra, The Bard
Ejendra, The Bard Goddess of creativity, art, music, performance, dance, joy, and pillows. She is often invoked during festivals and celebrations. The patron of artists and bards, actors and other performers usually seek her blessing for the crowd as a matter of tradition. Art exhibitions are often held in her honor. Ejendra is sometimes depicted as a woman with long flowing hair bearing a harp, and sometimes as a songbird perched on a pillow, with a tiny paintbrush held in its beak. She, alongside her muse Phiddia, is considered the wellspring of inspiration, and the two are rarely worshipped separately. Taking time to experience joy, in all its many forms, is considered an act of worship, which has drawn many followers to her, especially since the onset of the Blight. Along with Weth, she is sought for her guidance in creating fine crafts, as well as the more non-traditional arts such as swordplay and other such disciplines. For those who consider their craft or skill an art form, it is her favor they often seek. While she may have had few clerics in the usual sense, she was worshipped nearly universally by bards and other artists.
