Phiddia, The Muse
+
Goddess of stories, inspiration, and history, she is considered Ejendra's muse,
and often depicted as her consort. Phiddia is the one who preserves stories told
throughout the ages. She is believed to be a kind of divine inspiration,
whispering back an echo of a tale that was lost from the world in the ears of an
unwitting artist. Rarely invoked without Ejendra, the two are sought to bless
artistic creations, whatever they may be. They are sometimes depicted as two
songbirds perched on a pillow, one with a paintbrush and the other, representing
Phiddia, holding a quill in its beak. A long-haired woman bearing a quill,
images of her usually adorn institutions of learning and craft, alongside
Ejendra.
