Urxuli, The Pendulum
Urxuli, The Pendulum God of balance, equilibrium, and consequence. He is the ever-swinging pendulum, the constant balance between extremes. His followers tend to favor moderation and avoid excess, while at the same time seeking to walk a path free of unwanted consequence. It is a delicate balancing act, and many find themselves joining the faithful of Anja in their journey. Urxuli is often worshiped by practitioners of high magic and sometimes by kings or other leaders seeking his guidance to rule. Many of his Clerics of Consequence took up positions as advisors and mediators, as well as diplomats. They weighed options and outcomes carefully, cautious to commit to a path without thinking it through. They were often valued for their objectivity and ability to plan ahead. Urxuli is symbolized by a golden pendulum, but is rarely depicted in art. His followers pledge themselves to his path, and some of the more militant orders have taken to doling out what they see as warranted consequences. They believe that for every choice and action, there is a consequence, and often counsel against impulsive or emotionally charged decisions. Urxuli's Clerics were known to be able to manipulate gravitational forces, sometimes to great military effectiveness.
