Weth, The Smith
Weth, The Smith God of forges, quality, and artisanry, Weth is the patron of artisans and smiths everywhere. He disapproves of shoddy work, cutting corners, and unfinished projects. It's said that his blessing guides the hand of a crafter to create a masterpiece, sometimes of such exquisite craftsmanship that the item becomes a priceless treasure. His favor is usually sought at the beginning of an important project, or to help crafters overcome a difficult hurdle in order to see it through to the end. He encourages his followers to take pride in their skills and creations, and to give their all no matter how small or mundane the work may be. Weth is depicted in numerous ways, but is always holding a forging hammer and a set of scales, sometimes partially hidden beneath a luxurious beard. He is also often shown, especially in art, as working alongside Ejendra and Nevrei, the three commonly invoked together to bless truly important and vital projects. Most of the restoration efforts in Altheria have begun with such a ceremony.
