The Warbreakers Guild is rooted in the fighting traditions of the proud
Eldekai who once roamed the Northern Steppes. They draw their inspiration
from the unforgiving nature of the cold windswept landscape their forebears
once called home, and embrace the philosophy of strength and determination
above all else. They learn to fight with heavy weapons like towering
greatswords and colossal axes, swinging them with ease, and eschew the
burdens of armor that might otherwise get in the way of a path of
destruction they cleave across a battlefield.

Central to the Warbreakers' martial repertoire is their signature skill: the
Battletrance. With practice, they can learn to enter a state of heightened
focus and primal energy where senses sharpen and time seems to slow. While
in the trance, a Warbreaker focuses solely on offense, cutting down and
breaking an opponent's defenses. Regard for their own safety and even pain
inflicted by an opponent become distant and dull feeling, and this focus
solely on victory makes them truly fearsome warriors.

Warbreakers historically were able to dismantle an opposing army's
formations and morale with frightening ease, and for this they gained an
intimidating reputation that could rout an enemy before the fighting even
started. The Eldekai were seldom challenged for territory as a result.
