Weavefencers

The Weavefencers' Guild is a fighting school that teaches combat techniques
involving learning signature rhythms that combine rapier or saber fencing
with Low Magic arts that empower them using elemental aspects of the Aether.
Their movements are quick yet controlled, with careful timing to exploit an
opening or take advantage of the constant shifting of the Aether's flow.

These techniques are rooted in the ancient arcane dueling traditions of
Vaelandrian nobility, where elites would settle arguments, debts, or legal
matters through a duel. The pageantry for such an event was typically just
as important as the outcome.

This tradition evolved into a fighting style that blends flair, finesse, and
mysticism. It overlays the ebb and flow of the Aether upon the
back-and-forth of a rapier or saber duel to produce a unique combat
discipline that truly shines in single combat.

Multiple schools of fighting and duelery were founded during the years of
the Old and New Kingdoms, but it was the Weavefencing Guild based in
Galrathia that distinguished itself in tournament after tournament. Training
was highly sought after, and few aspirants were accepted. During times of
conflict, Weavefencers played pivotal roles in battles with their
unparalleled skills.

When the Blightbeasts came for Galrathia, the School's fencers famously made
an ill-fated last stand at the West Gate against the Blightbeasts to buy
time for others to evacuate.
