You lived among the people of the Far Lands, a general term for places
far-away and from which very few people arrived when the Blight came. The
Far Lands include outlying islands, much of the eastern continent, and
places beyond with which there has been little contact. There are hundreds
of places that Farlanders could have come from.
The ways of Farlanders are not as well known to the people of Altheria, and
if you came from a small village, it is very possible that you might be the
last one who knows of your culture. With this option, you are free to invent
a culture and origin from which you hail, so long as it fits comfortably
within the world of Aelandris (speak with an Admin if you are unsure).
Regardless of your origin, you completed a long journey to arrive in
Altheria, a place just as foreign to you as you seem to its residents, and
that journey and challenge of fitting in shapes your story.
